If you can make it to the Great Sacandaga Lake, do it! many spots to visit on the lake. Broadalbin Boat Launch and Beach, Town of Day Park...both of those are great picnic spots! Many restaurants around the lake such as Lanzis on the Lake, Sport Island Pub and Lakeside Tavern.
