City/town information
The most visited city in this part of Puglia, it is known for its historic architecture, welcoming people and great views. It is also called "la città bianca" (the white city) because of its special architecture and is sometimes referred to as the Santorini of Italy. Its only 5 minutes by car away from the property and should definitely be on your bucket list.

Ostuni

Ceglie is like Ostuni, just better. Narrower streets, less touristy, more local and has a unique feeling to it. It is particularly known for its culinary specialities among locals and you will find plenty of great, yet affordable restaurants in Ceglie. Ceglie is our favorite town and we are happy to share some great places with you.

Ceglie is our favorite town and we are happy to share some great places with you.
Our favorite Beaches
A beautiful sand beach in the middle of a natural parc. It is one of our three most favorite beaches in the area. The combination of turquoise se, natural sand dunes and a brise of seawind creates a special atmosphere that is hard to describe, but definitely worth experiencing. Whenever we go, we instantly feel like our batteries get instanly recharged. Long beachwalks are a great idea especially in spring and autumn when there are less.

Parco Naturale Regionale Dune Costiere da Torre Canne a Torre San Leonardo

Great place for a short walk. We walk here with our dogs a lot. It starts just behind the house and goes through century old olive grows and knee high flowers to a small elevation. There are almost no houses and you can enjoy the local nature, birds, trees and flowers. If you think you might have trouble finding it, ask us to explain or join us on one of our daily "passeggiatas" with the three dogs.
