The pristine beaches of Perdido Key rank within the top 20 in the nation! With an average temperature of 75 degrees and 343 days of sunshine per year, Perdido Key is the perfect vacation destination! Discovered by the Spanish in 1693, Perdido Key is a 247 acre barrier island and is one of the best kept secrets along the Emerald Coast. Spanish for “lost”, Perdido’s approximately 16 miles of sugar-white beaches were first inhabited by the Gulf Coast Native Americans. Federal and state parks cover nearly sixty percent of Perdido Key, making it one of the most extensive undeveloped shorelines in the Florida Panhandle. The area lies between Pensacola, Florida and Orange Beach, Alabama and is home to the famous Flora~Bama bar, which straddles the state line. The island has something to offer for every member of the family making it a great spot for the whole crew. You can eat at one of the many great restaurants on the island, spend the day boating, go shopping at the Tanger Outlet Mall or Cordova Mall, visit historic sites, go golfing at the Lost Key Golf Course, and of course enjoy miles of gorgeous white beaches and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

The Lost Key Golf & Beach Club is a fully gated resort in Perdido Key, Florida providing a peaceful, less crowded beach stay experience than other similar destinations. Our fabulous resort offers top-of-the-line amenities and services, Perdido Key style. This means you'll get to enjoy acres of nature preserves and protected habitats, as well as all the comforts of a luxury stay, within minutes walking distance of the Emerald Coast's most pristine beaches. OUR BEACH CLUB Located across the street from the entrance on the Gulf of Mexico. The beach club is a 5,000-square-foot, open-air beach amenity with exclusive access for Lost Key Residents & guests only. BEACH CHAIR/UMBRELLA SERVICES Beach chairs/loungers and umbrellas can be rented through the Perdido Beach Service attendant in person only on a first-come, first-served basis (only an issue during peak season). They do not take phone reservations due to walk ups and inventory practices. Once reserved, a beach attendant will set up your chair/umbrella before your reservation time for your convenience. The attendant arrives/starts setting up at around 9:00 a.m and breaks down the equipment at around 5 p.m. You may call them for up-to-date policies, pricing and practices: Front Office: (251) 981-4807 Manager: (251) 978-1107 Owner: (251) 978-5617 POOLSIDE SERVICES Poolside and indoor dining overlooking the Gulf is available year round. OTHER AMENITIES +Fitness Center — free weights, machines and cardio equipment. Located within the community inside the main pool area. +Resort-Style Swimming Pool — featuring zero entry and hot tub. We rented bicycles here when Sean's parents were visiting us at the Seascape 🌊 and really enjoyed a nice family cycling outing. The bicycles were in good condition and the prices were very reasonable.

Rule #1: Safety first — never swim alone! NEVER enter the Gulf without knowing the risk. Call 850-932-SURF for the latest surf advisory at Pensacola Beach and in the protected areas of the Gulf Islands National Seashore. Most local news stations also announce beach flags for the day. RIP CURRENTS Rip currents are narrow channels of water flowing out past the surf zone that can pull even strong swimmers into deep water beyond the offshore sand bar.
