Scoglio di Peppino (Peppino's Rock) is a really beautiful beach, however it's also popular, and finding parking on the weekend is a real challenge, so it's better to go mid-week when it's quieter.

Mari Ermi is 1h30 from Cagliari, on the west coast of the island, so is somewhat quieter than the beaches to the south and east. It can be windy, so is popular with kite surfers, but it's quiet, and with beautiful pebbled quartz sand and very clear water. Something of a hidden gem.
