This restaurant has great food and gorgeous views, but most importantly it is steps away from our condo and is part of Seascape Beach Resort. It also has a super nice bar. Unfortunately, we must also note that the service is not always the best and patience is required to enjoy a meal here.

If you just want to grab a quick meal and take it back, this pizza place is choice to make. The pizza is good and it is usually a fairly fast stop, with the except of those super busy weekends where everything is longer than normal.

It wouldn't be a proper visit to Santa Cruz county without spending some time at the Boardwalk. If you've been there before you know you want to go back. If you haven't then you definitely don't want to miss out. If you have kids, this will be their favorite part of the vacation. Don't forget to visit the Wharf while you are there, it's right next door!

The Winchester Mystery House is an architectural wonder and historic landmark in San Jose, CA. It was once the personal residence of Sarah Winchester, the widow of firearms magnate William Winchester. She was haunted by ghosts of people killed by her family's guns and felt that the ghosts only appeased if she kept building, so that's what she did. The result was a house like no other that was a complete mystery. If you have time for the 45 minute drive, you may want to check it out.

At 2,745 feet, it’s the longest wooden pier in the United States, resting on over 4,400 Douglas-fir pilings. Built in 1914, the timber centenarian continues to offer a timeless Santa Cruz experience. Stroll its wooden walkways-ideally with a cup of clam chowder in hand-and discover fresh-seafood eateries, local gift shops, nature and history displays, fun seasonal events, and of course, those famous barking sea lions.
