Adventure and Fun!

You will only be 4.3 miles from Horsetooth Reservoir where you can use our 2 kayaks, life jackets, and paddle board and paddles to have fun on the lake. You are required to at least have the life jackets on the kayaks and paddle board. Although, we recommend wearing the life jackets for your personal safety. You can rent additional paddle boards, jet skis, and even boats there. Paddle board rentals can be done at a little shop near South Bay. To keep your things dry and clean, we’re providing 2 large water backpacks for you to use at the lake (on the water or in the sand). There are also grills there for a barbecue. Feel free to use our cooler and charcoal. Matches are in the kitchen drawer.

Calling all Chocoholics! Tucked away on the north end of Old Town is the best chocolate you will ever taste... artisanal chocolate made straight from beans roasted and ground in Old Town Fort Collins. (Smart tip: If you're looking for a place to park in Old Town, put Nuance Chocolate in Maps and park over there. There's usually a spot open!)

Love beer? Fort Collins has some of the best. Drink it up in their large, outdoor seating area or hang out inside and listen to live music. Another great brewery is Coopersmiths Pub and Brewing. Want a meal with your beer? Check out Cooper Smiths restaurant (and make sure you get a soft pretzel as an appetizer!)

Social is a local, underground, cocktail bar in Old Town Fort Collins, CO. It is ranked one of the best bars in the country by Yelp. Not only are the drinks outstanding, but their small plates and charcuterie boards are extraordinary. We get the smoked salmon pate every time we go. The vibe is exquisite.

For ice cream connoisseurs, Churn features exclusive Little Man Ice Cream flavors inspired by Fort Collins where college, culture and agriculture meet. The ice cream is divine! My favorite is FOCO Choco. The Churn is located in The Exchange in Old Town... a destination for great food, entertainment, and creative outdoor areas.

Ginger and Baker is a hub for food and community in a historic mill offering a cafe, fine dining (The Cache), pie bakery, market, rooftop bar, & dog-friendly patio. Make sure you get the fried green beans when you go to Ginger and Baker. They are so good, you can't get them in your mouth fast enough! And don't forget to get a pie for dessert. The Cache is a separate, fine-dining restaurant.
