Run by chef Vítor Rocha, TABERNA CRIATIVA offers excellent cuisine and service. They cater for vegetarians and for people with specific food allergies. In my view it's the best local restaurant near us and we are lucky that it is so close to our house. I recommend to reserve a table.

The picturesque village of Almoçageme overlooks a small sandy beach (with handicap access) and has some friendly cafés and the vineyard Adega Viuva Gomes, where you can taste the local wine - Malvasia is an ancient and special white grape and a delicacy.

While the locals love this beautiful spot, it is less discovered by tourists. At low tide I recommend a walk along the cliffs; lots of water pools allow you to discover the costal sealife.
