Located in the heart of Soldotna, this is a great park. There is a large grassy area, amphitheater, picnic tables and some come with grills, restrooms, two age appropriate playgrounds, large cement pad, benches overlooking the river, easy walking path along the river and plenty of parking.

This is a good place to bike, run, or walk. Or ski, in the winter. Year after year, there are improvements and additions - like the trail lighting, and singletrack courses.

When the fish are running, this is the place to be. There’s also a nice 4 mile hike that takes you to Russian River Falls which starts from the campground.
