Ogunquit is about 10 miles north of the house. We love to take the scenic route (Shore Rd) there. Beautiful drive or bike ride. So much to do and see here! Take a walk along the Marginal Way, a path that winds along rocky cliffs overlooking the ocean, Perkins Cove, or explore the town center: art galleries, bars, restaurants, giftshops, fresh seafood, and if you have the time, catch a show at the summer stock Ogunquit Playhouse. One of Maine’s favorite vacation destinations!

One of our favorite towns. It’s a ride up the highway (about 40 min) but if you have the time, it’s worth a visit! The Old Port waterfront features working fishing wharves and converted warehouses with restaurants and shops. Nearby, the Western Promenade is a public park atop a bluff, offering river and mountain views. Its surrounding district, the West End, is full of Victorian-era homes, including the Victoria Mansion museum.
