Nyhavn is a really popular tourist attraction where H.C Andersen lived. It gets really crowded so try to be there in the morning. You can walk directly to the Little Mermaid from Nyhavn or take a canal tour through the canals of Copenhagen

Christiania is a freetown. Be aware that you can not use your cellphone while going down pusher street as some may think that you are taking pictures for the police. The cafe Nemoland is nice to get a snack or a beer.

Christiania is a freetown. Be aware that you can not use your cellphone while going down pusher street as some may think that you are taking pictures for the police. The cafe Nemoland is nice to get a snack or a beer.
If you want to go for a walk, I would choose Frederiksberg Garden. Most locals are going there for a picnic, for a walk or to enjoy beers with friends. There is a castle as well. There is not much to buy inside the garden so I usually bring takeaway from one the places outside the garden.
