There is the Monument of Mediterranean Cultures, better known as the “Columns”, probably one of the most photographed places in Torrevieja. The beach, with its newly renovated boardwalk, offers numerous bars, gift shops, ice cream parlors and restaurants. You can combine swimming and a good lunch at one of the local restaurants. In between swims, vacationers can have a bite to eat or refresh in any of the many beach bars, kiosks, restaurants or ice cream parlors.
