Here you will find French, Italian, Asian, American, Irish and English types cuisine. There are also a large variety of bars that cater to your preferences. Most restaurants will speak fluent French, English and Italian. During the mornings, every day except Monday, the Cours Saleya offers fresh fruit and vegetable markets, flower markets and typical French items that make great souvenir gifts. Monday mornings, there are excellent antique markets in this area.

Promenade des Anglais – Only a 5-minute walk from the apartment, is the most famous area in Nice. The promenade runs parallel to the beach and offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean. There are a number of excellent bars and restaurants that take advantage of the view here. It is also possible to rent bicycles to ride along this beautiful area.
Here you will also find access to all the beaches, both private and public. If you wish to hire a lounge for the day, you will need to rent from the private beaches. Our favourites are Castel Plage or Ruhl Plage, but you are spoilt for choice all the way along the promenade.

Place Massena & Galeries Lafayette – approximately an 8 minute walk away, Galeries Lafayette is a famous shopping mall and the surrounding areas offer high street stores, and small boutiques which are excellent places to shop.
