You are craving curry...to go Namaste. One of the best places in town as far as curry dishes. Our favorite are their Malai Kofta, Chana Masala and Aloo Gobhi. But whatever you order it is going to be good.

This place has some of the best homestyle Greek cooking in town. Sit and enjoy a nice dinner with great selections of comfort food, then walk down King street toward the water front and enjoy a lovely evening in Old town Alexandria.

What is not to like about a naval munitions factory turned into an Art center. This place is pretty neat and you get to see some of the work of our local artists. There is no admission fee so even better, after spending time there you fancy a boat ride, well take a taxi boat ride to D.C. or the national harbor no better way to explore Alexandria.

Want to take your dog on a long walk or you just fancy a nice long walk in the woods, well Clermont Park has some really neat trails and once in the park you forget you are in the city. This is a pretty big park and is walking distance to our home. Great place for a morning run or hike.
