I am from the Memphis area and this barbecue rallies any barbecue I've ever tasted. The ribs, mac and cheese and fried pickles are my favorite. NOTE: there is a usually a 30-45 minute wait. You can order drinks before you are seated so that helps.

This is a very nice Mexican restaurant that is super close. It's very well decorated and is in an old airplane hanger. My favorite are the tacos.

It's a bit of upscale with valet parking. They specialize in margaritas but the food is also very good.

They have the best burgers in the area hands down. They also had a bar that is part inside part outside. The design is very well done. We enjoy staying for awhile and having drinks as well!

I mention this one for the family. The food is ok but it is one of the most kid friendly restaurants around. It is locally owned and very close.

Very good sandwiches and locally owned. It's only a few blocks the south of the farmhouse on Cherokee Ave. Locally owned.

Drinks & Nightlife
The beer is local and very tasty. It's a good spot to sit and visit and enjoy a drink or two. It is about a 10 minute walk from the farmhouse and a 3 minute drive.

This is a new market district of Grant Park. It has a bakery, salon, Crossfit gym, chiropractor, bars, art gallery etc. This is the location of the Eventide Brewery.

This is technically a restaurant and I like the food ok but I love the atmosphere. It over looks the Oakland Cemetery which is pretty cool! I is also very close to other bars and restaurants if you want to hop around.

This is a great place to have a picnic or just stroll the sidewalks. There are no cars allowed so it is a perfect place to bring the kids. They have an outdoor swimming pool that is seasonal. There is a play ground for the kids.
