The Beltline is an old rail path that is being converted into pedestrian and bicycle paths. The main route will one day be a circle around the entire city. For now it is in segments, with the first major completed portion being the Eastside Trail.
When the weather is nice, especially after work and weekend, it is almost too crowded. But it is great to see everyone outside taking advantage of it.
You can walk, run, walk your dog, bring your bike, or find places to rent bikes. There are many options for food, drinks, and parks along the path as well.
