I hate to say bar, because it's a cocktail lounge. Jimmy rums is more upmarket and seriously funky. The guys behind the bar are world renown bartenders. Ask for the smoking cocktail or get a Winston Churchhill. Chill on the lounges for a pre-dinner drink or after dinner refreshment.

Best coffee in town. There is a blonde haired Korean guy who is a surgeon with a coffee machine. If you're serious about coffee, visit these guys.

Great cocktail lounge, Watergate is my favourite place in town. Grab an espresso martini in the lounge between 4-6 for Happy Hour, grab a table and head on downstairs and grab the pork-belly and perking duck. Get the eye fillet with a glass of red. Seriously to die for.

Sightseeing
Grab a camping chair, some dips and a nice bubbly and watch all the yachts and snorkelling boats come in around 3-5pm. Stay for the sunset. This is a relaxing must do. BBQ, playground and public toilets available.

There is a local aboriginal art gallery there that does art lessons. There are aboriginal groups that do cultural tours up to the Mossman Gorge. Also, the Walker brothers are an iconic part of the area. They do tours and often play in a band around town.

Macrossan Street has a huge abundance of shops for the traveller from flowers, sarongs, snorkels, opals, tours, crystals etc.
Check out Imagine, just next to Paddy's and the Thai place, Imagine has a huge amount of funky stuff that is cheap and sophisticated. I buy my incence there for $2- Ask for Manon.
