Amazing food at a great price. Traditional Southern Fare. Breakfast/Brunch and Dessert are our favorites! Get there planning to wait a little while, even on weekdays. Their Bloody Mary mix is house made and the best. Some of our favorites: TJ's Hot Mess - Breakfast Chicken & Waffles - Breakfast Shrimp & Gritts - anytime Cheese Gritts - side item - so good Lunch and Dinner are really delicious. They always have a catch of the day. Their salads are very large and delicious.

This is the South's first Cat Cafe. They have parternered with the local SPCA and have about 15 cats at a time. The cats are there for loving or for adopting. It is good to call and make a reservation as this is a popular, relaxing spot to have a coffee, wine or beer. Cat Cafe's are popular in Europe.

https://www.nps.gov/fosu/learn/historyculture/fort_moultrie.htm The first fort on Sullivan's Island was still incomplete when Commodore Sir Peter Parker and nine warships attacked it on June 28, 1776. After a nine-hour battle, the ships were forced to retire. Charleston was saved from British occupation, and the fort was named in honor of its commander, Colonel. William Moultrie. In 1780 the British finally captured Charleston, abandoning it only on the advent of peace.

http://travel.usnews.com/Charleston_SC/Things_To_Do/The_Battery_53060/ Many visitors say you can't leave Charleston without seeing this stretch along the city's southern tip. This row of Southern-style mansions overlooking Charleston Harbor was formerly the heart and soul of the city's maritime activity. Today, the area attracts camera-toting tourists from all over the country. "One of my favorite places to simply park and enjoy watching the Ashley River flow into Charleston [H]arbor," one TripAdvisor reviewer said.

http://www.angeloaktree.com/ The Angel Oak Tree is estimated to be in excess of 400-500 years old, stands 66.5 ft (20 m) tall, measures 28 ft (8.5 m) in circumference, and produces shade that covers 17,200 square feet (1,600 m2). From tip to tip Its longest branch distance is 187 ft.  There is considerable debate about the age of the Angel Oak.  Some contend that it is 1,500 years old.  Most believe that the more conservative estimates are more accurate. It is an absolute must see for anyone visiting Charleston South Carolina. It is on everyone’s top ten list of things to do in Charleston. Despite being located on John’s Island, the Angel Oak has come to symbolize Charleston South Carolina.

http://www.thecharlestoncitymarket.com/ A must see when coming to Charleston! The City Market, or Centre Market, is a historic market complex in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. Established in the 1790s, the market stretches for four city blocks from the architecturally-significant Market Hall, which faces Meeting Street, through a continuous series of one-story market sheds, the last of which terminates at East Bay Street. The Market Hall has been described as a building of the "highest architectural design quality." The entire complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Market Hall and Sheds and was further designated a National Historic Landmark.
