A very lively, trendy community-run cafe/bar open all day/evenings. Great menu (and live music sometimes). A pretty cool place to hang out and get a feel for Bristol's music scene. Free entry and live music every night plus some interesting, left-field goings-ons in the event spaces upstairs. It's only a ten minute walk away (next to a huge Banksy mural) what's not to love?!

If you're heading up the famous Gloucester Road for a spot of shopping check this shop out for a really impressive range of amazingly lush wines, craft beers and artisan spirits. Some local distillers and brewers are stocked here. Great staff. We recommend!

Impressive, huge semi-wild parklands with rolling hills, ancient trees with a large herd of Roe Deer. The area also plays host to Bristol's famous Balloon Fiesta among many others.

A really handy local destination for families. This large park is stunning with a good sized children's play area, beautiful gardens and a large outdoor paddling pool. On sunny days children ran between the giant sandpit and the paddling pool for hours. whole days are easily spent there. The famous Gloucester Road shops are only a short walk from there too if you need supplies.

On sunny days children ran between the giant sandpit and the paddling pool for hours. whole days are easily spent there. The famous Gloucester Road shops are only a short walk from there too if you need supplies.

This is THE iconic structure of Bristol. Isambard Kingdom-Brunel's bridge is famous for good reason, it's a stunning structure in itself and the views are incredible. Lots to do in the surrounding area like visiting the Clifton Observatory, nearby adventure playground, bijou, up-market Clifton shops or the rolling hills of Ashton Court

A great place to hang out with kids. A city-farm, cafe and small adventure playground. the cafe looks a bit like a hobbit-hole with rounded windows and cave-like ceilings. Real foodies run this place, great grub. A lovely walk through allotments from our house! (15 min walk: cross over Ashley Hill Rd at Hurlingham rd and follow the foot path down)
