On 21st street, just hop on the Q69 bus. You want to wait by the bus stop right in from of City Sliquors. Very quick 10 minute ride. Ditmars has 50+ restaurants to choose from.

If you are a fan of friends, take a trip to this restaurant and you will recognize the building right away. The west village is the cutes most popular neighborhood in NYC, thats why you see it is so many iconic movies about New York. This restaurant is also very good. Def take a walk around the neighborhood if you can.

Feltman's Kitchen is know to have the best hotdogs in NYC. The founder is also the creator of the hot dog. I guess this would be the place to try an NYC hotdog for sure :-)

This is an amazing park that used to be an old railroad. I recommend starting at 30th or 23rd street and walking your way down to 14th street.

If you don't want to stand in long lines at Bryant park and rockefellar center to ice skate, I recommend skating in central park. at night the views are amazing.

For Beautiful views of manhattan and its bridges i highly recommend taking the Ferry once. Its great if you have a day planned in lower manhattan, because you can get off on Wall street downtown. you can walk from the apartment.
Make a left out of the apartment towards 8th street, than make a left on 8th street, walk 420 ft and take right, walk another 490 ft than the destination will be on your left.
