The park itself has many beautiful trees to sit under, park benches, tennis courts, a children's playground, with climbers and swings, a paddling pool and a nearby Community Centre, with a swimming pool.

Although you can't swim at Sugar Beach, if you can secure a spot under one of the signature pink umbrellas, this is one of the nicest places in Toronto to sit and watch the day go by. The sand is fine grained and it has a great view of the city and harbour.
