The train to Mallaig is nice ( the steam train or regular train) from there you can take a day trip to one of the scottish island - my fav's are Eigg and Muck. https://www.calmac.co.uk/ They also have amazing bakery with a pastry chef from the Ritz so pretty good an pizza's in the evening- maybe if when you come back from the Islands!
