Salads and paninis are tasty but the cool kids all order the bruschetta boards that boast tasty combinations of savory, sweet and salty deliciousness. (The goat cheese and chopped roasted red pepper is our favorite) Also a crazy popular place so expect a wait on weekends--worth it!

Rent some bikes in Scottsdale and head west on the canal path to this fun place.

Park and prepare to hike a beautiful area at the largest metropolitan park in the country. Hiking trails are plentiful as are mountain biking tracks. The hikes from this entrance are easy to moderate and allow lots of opportunities for photos and wildlife as well as great specimens of cacti. Go in the spring to see the cactus blooming. As always, when hiking in our dry climate, bring twice as much water as you think you will need--or three times. Assisted rescues on hiking trails in the Phoenix area are common because visitors misjudge their water needs.
