My neighborhood coffee shop is located a little over a block away on Seviere Ave. Honeybee is a great space to get some work done and/or enjoy a coffee or a beer at your leisure.

'Serving Chinese and Cambodian inspired food in a comfy home environment.' I pasted this from their website home page as I couldn't have said it better myself. My favorite South Knox restaurant. The outdoor lawn is superior on a sunny afternoon. The small bar inside is cozy and the food cannot be recommended highly enough.
Did I mention it's walking distance (about a half a mile), from the apartment?

If you're in town on Tuesday for lunch they have half price fried rice specials for lunch (11:30am to 3pm)! Absolutely recommend them for dinner as well. Hit up their website for full menu and hours: https://www.knoxkaizen.com/menu

Located on the north side of Knoxville, Magnolia Records is easily my favorite record store in town. The prices are right and the selection varied. Good selection of (but not limited to), world sounds, metal, rock, and indie music with new and used LPs, CS, and cassettes for sale.
