This "Off the Beaten Path" Store has been around for MANY years and is a Favorite of mine and of the local Amish Community! The Amish community are big believers of homeopathic and natural remedies - All of which are here-
Miller's Natural Foods sells bulk foods, herbs, vitamins, and organic items. You have Never Seen a Larger variety of All these items ANYwhere!
The store specializes in natural and organic varieties and many kinds of food supplements.
You will enjoy looking at their incredibly, vast selection of bulk foods, supplements, and organic produce. The prices are exceptional and you will want to purchase a large supply.
Please realize that there no real lights in the store. So, the store will appear to be dark on cloudy days.
The store also sells locally grown produce at incredibly low prices!
*Please be respectful of the Amish and respect their wishes of not having their pictures taken.
Also, the Amish don't change to Daylight Savings Time. So, they may close an hour earlier during the summer than the times noted below.

Amos’ Place; Which is located inside "Stoltzfus Meats" (Seen in "Shopping") a delightful restaurant area with indoor and outdoor seating for your comfort and pleasure. When you Place your order at the counter, everything is Fresh Made To order, so take a seat and they will either bring it to you, or call your name. *Note: You will get a ticket from the restaurant, you do not pay at the food counter, you will bring it to the main registers inside the Stoltzfus Meats store side of the establishment. Whether you’re in the mood for a warm grilled cheese and homemade soup or a fresh Caesar salad, we have menu items for everyone! All of their meats are 'their own' - local and fresh, Stoltzfus meat has been the best 'butcher shop' around for more than 60 years!
They have an assortment of gourmet wraps, made to order items “hot off the grill,” as well as the famous “Stoltzfus Sausage Sandwich” and tasty subs. You may decide on Stoltzfus’ mouthwatering shaved ham sandwich with a side order of fresh cut French fries. A variety of soups and salads help to round out the delicious menu. BUT Their "BROASTED CHICKEN" is unsurpassed DELICIOUS specially fried Fresh Chicken - It is absolutely the Best Fried Chicken you will Ever Eat in your Life! MY tip is to ask to wait for it Fresh Fried - They have it ready available in 'hot box' on the counter and they are always making it throughout lunchtime- but when it comes Hot out of the fryer, it's even MORE Delish!!!
Amos’ Place is open for breakfast as well. Probably the BEST Breakfast food in Town! Biscuits & sausage gravy or dried beef gravy. They also have a variety of wraps and sandwiches to chose from made with bacon, scrapple, sausage and fresh cracked local eggs.
There is also a Grab & Go section that has hot breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well as a cold sub, wrap, salad and sandwich sections for when you need a quick meal on the go.

Essentials
Centerville Bulk Foods is our local "go to" corner grocer. It is just across the field from my home, and is our local Amish communities 1st choice to shop for everyday items. Like most Amish owned businesses, they have great, fair prices. They sell all spices imaginable, locally grown produce, delicious cookie mixes in plastic bags, pudding mixes, homemade peanut butters, soup mixes, and local cheeses and other staples. In addition, many herbal drugs are sold. It's always a joy to shop at this store where the voices are hushed, the children are obedient, and the horses waiting outside for their owners are more patient than your spouse is. It's everything you would think that a neighborhood grocery store would be, and more!
