Parks & Nature
This is one of the most famous parks in Amsterdam. It's right in the centre and only a 10 minutes bike ride from the apartment. In the weekend it will be packed with tourists and sometimes is too crowded. On weekdays it will be a lot nicer to walk around and enjoy the famous Vondelpark.

This is one of the most famous parks in Amsterdam. It's right in the centre and only a 10 minutes bike ride from the apartment. In the weekend it will be packed with tourists and sometimes is too crowded. On weekdays it will be a lot nicer to walk around and enjoy the famous Vondelpark.
This park doesn't have the history of the Vondelpark but offers everything that Vondelpark doesn't have. It's only a 10 minutes walk (5 minutes bike ride!) and has a few nice venues where it's possible to enjoy some drinks in the sun. On the big main field it's also allowed to have a BBQ so that's also an option (It's possible to buy a disposable BBQ at Albert Heijn).

The Anne Frank house is about five minutes walking away and to avoid standing in line for several hours it would be smart to go early in the morning or later at night (opening hours are 09:00 - 22:00, hours might differ so please double check before heading over!).
