I actually like this zoo better than the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, since the design of the exhibits allow you closer and clearer views. In particular, the tiger exhibit is one of the best I have ever experienced. As a bonus, there is a really great aquarium in the zoo so you don't even have to go to the Seattle Aquarium.

Mount Rainier is the is the highest mountain of the Cascade Range of the Pacific Northwest, and the highest mountain in the U.S. state of Washington. It is also an active volcano! On your hike you can enjoy valleys, waterfalls, summertime wildflower meadows, old-growth forest, and glaciers. Worth the 2 hour drive to this iconic place of Washington.

On your hike you can enjoy valleys, waterfalls, summertime wildflower meadows, old-growth forest, and glaciers. Worth the 2 hour drive to this iconic place of Washington.
As a contrast to Central Park in NY, this park is full of natural landscape where you are surrounded by large trees of the Northwest. Rhododendron Garden, beaches, trails, and a old-growth forest make this a beautiful place.

This "park" is actually an island located offshore from Kopachuck State Park. Accessible only by boat. An interesting tidbit is that this island is also known as Deadman's Island, as it is believed to have served as a tribal burial ground. Legend has it, the dead were placed in canoes in the forks of trees on this island...The island also offers scuba diving!

Located right in the neighborhood at the Narrows Airport, this is the closest restaurant/bar to you. They are known for their pizza, happy hour, and Friday trivia night. You also get unique views of planes landing and taking off on the airport runway.
