This is Mani's unofficial capital. Famous for being the starting place of the greek fight for independence from the Ottoman empire. The liveliest of places in Mani with great night life. We usually visit late in the evening for drinks or early in the morning to get the best bread from the bakery at the end of the main street.

The closest town to the villa with lovely restaurant tavernas and little bars. Beautiful example of the Mani architecture, this little town is well worth visiting!
