The Basilica Cistern in Istanbul is a large cistern located between Hagia Sophia and Cağaloğlu. This is a huge cistern from the Byzantium Empire. It used to collect water for the city. It feels absolutely out of this world. It could be closed since there are renovations. It was also shown in one of the older James Bond movies where they drive a boat inside the cistern.
