There is a place not far from here in the forest for walking and paddling for children. Turn to your right from here (coming from Hordle direction) and drive all the way down. There is a little car park at the bottom of the dip. You can go on a lovely walk from here and often see some forest ponies.

Our local pub, just up the road so an easy cycle or walk although there are no pavements through the village. Very pretty situation right on the open forest, with the New Forest ponies often grazing outside. Decent pub food.
