If you need clothes or cleaning stuff you can buy them at Mall del Rio, they import their items, so prices are convenient.

This is the largest mall in Cuenca and is a short bus or taxi ride. It also has a food court.

Large modern shopping mall. Very safe and they have everything.

The mall was a nice way to spend a couple of hours, you don't need to go for the shopping, it's a great venue to people watch. On the second floor there is a big food court full of diverse restaurants to suit every taste. There is also a kid's play area and a video arcade and bowling as well as a multi-movie complex. There are several very nice stores and even some American ones like Ralph Lauren, Bass Pro Shop, etc. The Corral Supermarket is "super store" like Walmart, located on both levels, you can find anything you need and at reasonable prices. You can also relax at a very nice restaurant, Creta, on the 2nd floor, that is lovely place to enjoy a gourmet cup of coffee.

South City Mall - shopping, Coral Centro (like Super Walmart though very clean and organized) and theatres.
