The Art Palace, or Museum of Cultural History, houses artifacts of the theater, cinema, music, and choreography of Georgia. It has fine art pieces from Georgian, Russian, European, and Persian collections. The building itself is a beautiful sight with an interesting history. Walk from room to room in this old palace and explore the history of the country through its art. The knowledgeable staff are happy to share the stories of the building and pieces when asked.

The Georgian State Museum of Theatre, Music, Cinema, and Choreography - Art Palace is an important depository of Georgian cultural objects. The museum is housed in one of the most stunning buildings in Tbilisi which is a perfect example of Gothic and Islamic architecture.

The museum houses rich materials which reflect history of old and contemporary Georgian Theatre, Music, Cinema and Choreography. Among them are: samples of the XVII c. painting, Persian miniatures, German and French prints, works of XX c. artists, Collection of personal letters, manuscripts, archives of well-known writers and public figures. In the museum are stored also theatre costumes, memorial belongings, audio-video records, playbills, programmes, films, collections of theatre decorative art, etc. At the moment the museum is under the complete reconstruction.

Дворец Искусств - старинный особняк, наполненный антиквариатом и стариной. Есть постоянная экспозиция, так же регулярно проходят различные выставки. Место со своим совершенно особенным духом.
