Local swimming hole. Access to the quarry itself is off of Augusta Avenue, although for the summer of 2023 they will be updating the facilities and the quarry may be closed to visitors. Entrance to the Fort Dickerson Park with an overlook of the quarry is from Chapman Highway (441).

Quarry Swimming!!!! Take your bathing suits, take a dip and hang by the quarry. Driving Distance.

Knoxville doesn't really use public pools, we use the quarries. Fort Dickerson is the day drinking spot where you run into all of your friends. Generally for the 20's and 30's crowd who want to have a few seltzers in the sun.
