Picnic at Westgate Gardens. Gardens beside the River Stour, with a 200 year-old plane tree and a Victorian Tower House is only 10mins walk with river flowing through it and if you follow the path you can be in the countryside within minutes to enjoy even more beautiful views!

While visiting the historic city of Canterbury take some time to pop into Westgate Gardens. It's always so beautiful and perfect for a little rest from the shops, restaurants, pubs, street entertainment and all that the lovely city of Canterbury has to offer. You can even go punting on the river stour. What's not to love about my lovely city :) There's just so much to see and do here. So enjoy.

Stunning gardens beside Westgate Towers. Make sure to walk along the river and you can go all the way to Chartham (and further!). At Chartham there are pubs and public toilets.
