Punta del Este is the most famous district (State, Province) of Uruguay. This is where the rich and famous go to vacation and is world know for the beauty of its beaches. Among the many restaurants, bars, hotels, and resorts in the part of the country, they also have a famous statue of a hand reaching out from the beach.
