The High Falls on Pigeon River hike is spectacular, especially during the winter. It's right next to the Canadian Border, an hour and 15 minute drive.

Check out the great waterfall on the Canadian Border if you are going up to Grand Portage. Its massive!

Head to Finger Point lookout for a great view of Lake Superior and its islands (5.5 km). Or take the loop trail to High Falls (2.5 km). You can sit right next to the falls, making it the coolest waterfall trail ever. (You can only sit next to the falls from the Canadian side.)
