This museum was built from 1843-55 and heavily damaged during WW II. It reopened in Oct 2009 after rebuilding by British architect David Chipperfield. Exhibits comprise the Egyptian and Prehistory and Early History collections including the iconic bust of the Egyptian queen Nefertiti.

This museum was recently restored after being out of use since the WWII. The architecture is amazing as is the bust of Nefratiti.
