Historical heritage under UNESCO control. Climb up Kul-Sharif mosque, it is for free. Panorama of the city from outside of the Kremlin walls and from inside. From there, you may continue walking down to see the agricultural palace and river promenade.

The Kazan Kremlin (Qazan kirmäne, Qazan) is the oldest part of Kazan, a complex of architectural, historical and archeological monuments that reveal the long history of the city: archaeological remains of the first (XII-XIII centuries), the second (XIV-XV centuries) and the third fortifications (XV-XVI centuries).

The Kazan Kremlin (Russian: Казанский Кремль) is the chief historic citadel of Tatarstan, situated in the city of Kazan. It was built at the behest of Ivan the Terrible on the ruins of the former castle of Kazan khans. It was declared a World Heritage Site in 2000.
