Beautiful place for a walk or hike. If you're here in early June when the peonies are in bloom, it can't be missed!

Large University/Public Park. Great for picnicking, trail hiking, running, biking.

World renowned arboretum. Great for a picnic, throwing the frisbee, running, or just going for a lovely stroll in a beautiful place. I recommend entering at the Geddes Street entrance.

Not always the easiest place to find parking. There are entrances off Washington Heights and Geddes Ave (park in the neighborhood, but look for no parking signs). This is an oasis with trails, access to the river, etc.
