Has a wonderful civil rights room that brings you into the center of the student marches and sit-ins that make Nashville one of the centers of the civil rights movement history.

My favorite library in Nashville. They have a lovely courtyard, and great kids area! Also, great story time for kiddos. I recommend parking in the garage in the same building, and getting your ticket validated for free.

Especially good for young children, with a great kids section full of games, activities, climbing walls, and a renown puppet theater (search Wishing Chair Productions for showtimes). All opens out into a beautiful interior courtyard.
