An ornate Victorian Gothic Revival house with extensive garden and parkland, just a stone's throw from Bristol, Tyntesfield was not intended to be an extravagant statement of wealth, power or politics. Its purpose was simple: to serve as a family home.

A National Trust estate which is nice to wander around. Plenty of free walks around this area also.

Tyntesfield is a magnificent time capsule of an by-gone age. Excellent house and gardens to visit as well as some woodland walk - saved by The National Trust and local people who helped raise the money to buy it.
