Here you can rent a canoe and paddle across the ship canal to the protected waters of the Arboretum. If you go here in August, bring something to collect blackberries as they line the shore. You get to paddle under the 520 freeway bridge which is pretty fun.

A Seattle must! Rent a kayak or canoe at WAC and go out on Union Bay or cruise around Gas Works Park to Fremont. It's $12 and hour and includes life vests. You can walk or take the bus down from Ravenna, or the light rail lets you off right near the waterfront in front of the stadium. A couple minutes of walking and you'll be on the water. Don't miss out on such a fun experience.

Rent a canoe or rowboat and check out the Montlake cut, Washington Arboretum water trails, Fox Point, and the mansions along Lake Washington. Located directly behind Husky Stadium, on Union Bay and across the bay from the Washington Arboretum.
