"This is a must see attraction while you are at Niagara Falls New York. Going down the 175 foot elevator and coming out to the right of the American and Bridal Veil Falls is spectacular. This is an attraction that you can take your camera and on most days you can get some great photos. If you want to stay dry this is not the attraction for you to go on. I hope you don't miss this one. It does close at dusk because it is unsafe to be walking there in the dark. You will receive a raincoat and sandals to wear to keep your good shoes dry. Take the elevator to the base of the Falls. Walk up close onto the stairs and feel the mist. Another great way to see and visit Niagara Falls. You will not be disappointed.

its just one of those things, in addition to the main of the mist, that you shoulddo on your first or 50th trip to the falls. on a hot day take a pass on the poncho...:)
