The library directly above in City Hall also has a great (and sound-proof) kids’ section with books, toys and other activities and is open 7 days a week.

Sausalito Public Library Booksale: I LOVE the Sausalito Public Library book sale! It is organized like a bookstore and has a fantastic selection of titles in great condition. Paperbacks are generally $2. There is a great non-fiction section around the corner from the main hall. It is rare I go here and don't come out with the title/author I am looking for! The volunteers are cheerful and always happy to help you find a book! HOURS: Monday 9am-5pm, Wednesday 10am-1pm, Saturday 10am-1pm
