Bellingrath Gardens and Home is the 65-acre public garden and historic home of Walter and Bessie Bellingrath, located on the Fowl River near Mobile, Alabama. Walter Bellingrath was one of the first Coca-Cola bottlers in the Southeast, and with his wealth built the estate garden and home.

www.bellingrath.org (1¾ hr/50 miles) outside Mobile, AL features 65 acres of fragrant blooming flowers year-round, a 45-minute cruise aboard the Southern Belle, and a 10,500 square foot home with original furnishings. The photos are from our Christmas trip where we were taken back by all the beautiful lights that seemed to go on forever. Definitely a “must see” for your next trip to Orange Beach.

Historic Bellingrath Gardens with beautiful gardens and home. Wonderful walking outing, cafe and gift shop on site.
