If you love Spanish Tapas and seafood - this is the spot for you. Consistently rated one of Canada's top restaurants, you must seek a reservation far ahead of time! They update their menu regularly, so always ask the servers what they recommend. If you love Spanish wine from Rioja, they have an incredible wine list. Definitely an iconic spot in Toronto and it's literally a 1 minute walk. Located right at College and Roxton. If you cannot get a reservation, you will see people waiting outside for it to open at 5pm. Try for an early dinner! Or else, go for cocktails and snacks late in the evening. When celebrities are in town from LA, they are often spotted here.

This place is like you've entered Greece (even the wines are Greek!). Great atmosphere. One of our favourite spots to have dinner with friends. The dishes are traditional and we love them - the server's recommendations are excellent. Note they try to get you to do family-style, which may rack up the bill. I suggest ordering a few dishes to share and you can always order more if need be.

I can't get enough of the famous ice cream cookie sandwiches! They make everything from scratch - including trendy ice cream flavours (olive oil, earl gray, ginger, etc.). Get there early, because the line-up has been known to stretch all the way down Ossington Ave.!

Anthony Bourdain put this place on the map when it was featured on one of his shows visiting Toronto. If you're a meat-lover, then this spot's for you! Tables are small - 6 people and under. But, it's only a 7 minute walk from our apartment and a place you may want to check-out on the fly!

Hands down the best (and the cheapest) Mexican in the city. It's not unusual to see celebrities hitting up this Parkdale gem. They don' take reservations and you may be on a waiting list (grab a drink anywhere else along Queen West) and they'll text you when a table becomes available. So worth it!

Really neat menu! All dishes are "Canadian" and inspired by the earliest settlers and natives. They are known for their inventive cocktails (ask which ones come with 100% fresh in-house ingredients, including their own distilled spirits). My favourite app is the pine smoked mussels. They change their menu regularly. It's at one of the hippest locations in TO along the Ossington Strip.
