Although it is on the other side of town (15 min drive), this is my favorite late night Mexican and margarita spot. It is great for groups and if you check their Facebook, you can sometimes get in on their Dollar Taco night. It's cash only, but they have an ATM.

This local coffee company has recently gone national. This is their flagship location. It is ultra yuppie, but the food and coffee are fantastic. I highly recommend the Draft Latte. Their food is fantastic too. Besides coffee, their baked goods and brunch are yummy. They have other locations around the city, but this is the largest and offers the most food and drinks.

This breakfast and brunch spot has been loved by Philadelphian's forever. If you go on weekdays before 9am, they have a breakfast special for under $5.

It is super crowded all of the time, but if you can handle crowds, you can sample lots of Philadelphia foods. I really recommend the cannolis from Termini Bakery.

Best sandwich shop I have ever gone to in my life and around the world. They have a counter that seats about 6 or you can take out. The prep the meats and the sandwiches right in front of you. The Paesano and the Arista are my favorite sandwiches, but they are all good. If you have a gluten allergy, just tell them, they are happy to accommodate. (Paesano=Beef Brisket, Horseradish Mayo, Roasted Tomatoes, Pepperoncino, Sharp Provolone & Fried Egg)
