Come and unwind at our 'intimate piece of paradise!' We started building this cabin in 2022, with the dream of having a personal get away spot. Everything you see is handcrafted by myself, wife and our two kids. There's amenities that we think everyone will love, including: heated floors, heated towel rack, bath tub on the front porch, huge windows and so much more! Lake Escape

Enjoy your private lakefront cabin! Spend a day on the lake and take advantage of your private dock (dock is seasonal due to winter water levels being low) Bring your boat (trailer parking on property) or use our kayaks to paddle around the cove. After your lake day, retreat to this cozy bungalow on a wooded lot. Grill-out and enjoy the outdoor eating area, sit by the fire or chill on the deck overlooking the lake. Close to boat ramps and marinas who offer gas dock, boat rentals and restaurants.

You won't find anything with more character than the Cave and its surroundings. Nestled at the end of a slough on Smith Lake, its seclusion adds to the appeal. Explore the waterfalls, the lake, and the cave and its unique features. Retire to the rustic cabin with beautiful lake views, indoor fireplace, and natural accents. Note that there is a set of steps (~25) to get to the cave. Ask us about options to accommodate more guests than the 4 listed. Bookings offered only 3 months in advance

The Goat Farm Getaway at South of Sanity Farms

Enjoy a peaceful night away from the busyness of life on our farm. Our 34' camper has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, full bath, full kitchen, living area with a loveseat and a futon that folds to a full size bed, table that seats 4, a TV and dvd player. With your own deck facing west towards the pond you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and the sounds of our animals around you. Please note that there is no wifi or cable tv in the getaway. So far everyone has had good cell signal.

Juju’s Pond House on Smith Pond

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located on 100 acres and nestled quietly on a private pond. The house was originally built in 1921 and in 2018 we had the house moved down to the pond and did a full renovation while preserving as much original character as we could. Enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sunrise from the screen porch swing or one of the docks at the pond. The property has nature trails to explore, fishing, and plenty of wildlife.

Cap's Caboose 30 minutes from Cheaha State Park

Looking for a unique place to stay? We have it. Cap's Caboose is a one of a kind overnight rental. It is in a quite friendly community, and is within a 30 minute drive of the beautiful Cheaha mountains (State Park). Ashland is the nearest town only 6 miles away and has several restaurants including McDonalds, several privately owned cafes and a Piggly Wiggly for groceries. There is a Dollar General in Millerville just 2 miles away.

Shoals Creek Cottage

Come relax in our cottage on beautiful Shoals Creek. Enjoy your private cottage located on the same property as the owner's home, but with plenty of space in between for privacy. Brightly decorated with a full bath, kitchen and bedroom. Plus, two futons that make out into full size beds. Great swimming and fishing off the pier. Just 12 miles from downtown Florence if you'd like to visit or stay and totally relax on the lake.
