The Canal Room sits upstairs within Ratho Park Steading: a stunning Scottish courtyard stable (built 1826; converted 2021). It borders Ratho Park Golf club (area of outstanding beauty), a walk from the heart of Ratho village, 8miles from Edinburgh centre. The large room is stylishly furnished (super king size bed), tv/wifi, and heated through ground source. The property has off-road parking with use of/ views into a landscaped garden/canal. Breakfast is a cold self-served buffet in the 'Den'.

Walking distance to Tramway art centre, Hidden Gardens, Bellahouston Park for gigs, Burrell (UK Museum of the Year) and several parks. Hop-On-Hop-Off bus stops right outside for city tours.

The Bothy Suite by Temple Wood

The Bothy Suite is in the 'hidden village' of Slockavullin , delightfully rural but only 1 mile from the village of Kilmartin with Pub, museum and cafe. Temple Wood and the standing stones are in walking distance with the Crinan Canal a short drive or cycle. The guest accommodation does have a seperate entrance and the whole of the ground floor is for guest use with 2 double bedrooms and modern bathroom consisting of double width shower, sink and toilet. Breakfast is continental.

Bed & Breakfast in our 1840s brick-built railway cottage in Helensburgh on the River Clyde close to Loch Lomond. We are nestled behind tall buildings so we do not have a scenic view. We offer off-road parking and secure bicycle storage. Helensburgh marks the start of the John Muir Way and the Three Lochs Way distance walks. The West Highland Way and several other walks are in the area. For climbers, Ben Lomond, the Conic Hill and Ben Arthur (The Cobbler) are a short drive away.

A vegan B&B. The front door is shared with the host. Continental breakfast - porridge, muesli toast. Ensuite, twin room. The room looks out onto the garden, where the host may be spotted weeding. Guests may sit out in the garden and enjoy a beautiful view of rolling hills in a quiet friendly atmosphere. I have a shed where bikes can be stored. There is a play park near the house. A short walk to the holy isle ferry.
