One bedroom with double bed. Sleeps 1 to 2 people. Guests have sole use of living room, kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom. Parking permit for guests use. No Wi-fi. BT open zone available. There is a doctors surgery, library and swimming pool in the town. Buses go to Sheffield, Buxton, Derby and Chesterfield. no pets.

The Pudding Stop - Bakewell - Free Parking

Our beautiful and newly refurbished (2023) cottage is right in the heart of Bakewell, Derbyshire. The location could not be more convenient - it's a minute walk into the centre where you will find excellent pubs, restaurants, cafes and independent shops. We now also include free on-street parking. The Pudding Stop sleeps 2 guests (babies and dogs welcome too!) and is available for short breaks and week stays. This little hideaway is set within the garden of our 1830’s Grade II listed property.

With stunning views of open Countryside, you can enjoy the use of an enclosed garden area to the front of the property and private courtyard garden at the back.

Peaceful and away from it all but close enough to explore the beauty of the Peak District and Chatsworth House. Matlock is a couple of miles away with restaurants, shops and amenities. It’s a great base for walkers with plenty of walks from your doorstep. The cottage is in a town location - If you are looking to be in the countryside - this is not for you. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

This is the perfect base to really enjoy all that the Peak District has to offer- including the most epic view of all at Monsal Head and the Headstone Viaduct.
