The Gateway-Getaway is only about three miles from Mount Desert Island (MDI) where you will find Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor. The apartment is perfect for 1-2 people. You will stay in an efficiency apartment above our detached garage. Which is in a quiet location (although occasionally our dogs bark when outside). A small swimming beach is a 5 minute walK, 5-10 minutes to the Farnsworth and CMCA museums, Strand Theater, restaurants, antiques shops & galleries. ALSO NOTE we do not have television. Lofty-Digs is a newly constructed studio apartment in the upstairs of our barn. We are delighted to tell you that we are solar powered!!! The apartment offers a private entrance, small balcony overlooking our garden, free off street parking, a full bath, plenty of closet space all in a peaceful inviting, quiet, and roomy studio. Walking distance to all that Bangor has to offer including Waterfront Pavilion, Stephen King's house, wonderful pubs and restaurants.

The Farm By The Sea is a place to unwind and take in some nature. Private Beach. Kayakers dream. The Farm sits on 5 acres on the ocean in Trenton. A short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. You may enjoy dipping your toes at the oceans edge or you may like to just watch the garden grow. The apartment is self sufficient with private bathroom and entrance. We would want you to know that we may be up early mornings along with the chickens so early risers would do best here.

Rabbitrock Retreat

Coastal village. Rabbitrock Retreat is located towards the end of a dirt road among wildflower meadows and apple trees, quiet except for the sound of birds and distant church bells. It is named after a local landmark Rabbit Rock that exists in the woods near our house, known only by select locals who used to say you could “always catch a rabbit at Rabbit Rock”. It is a place of abundance for sure, and we are happy to get to share it.

Salty Dog Hilltop Guest Suite (permit #STR25-8)

This guest suite is located in the lower level of our NetZero post & beam home which sits on a mountain overlooking the Penobscot Bay. The over 600 sq. ft. large open floor plan is spacious & clean with a large private patio. The location is quiet and peaceful while only 5 minutes from the action in downtown Rockland and only 15 minutes from Camden. This is a great home base to explore all that the Midcoast area has to offer.
